Am I missing something? This is my first coin of the series. I thought it looked the nicest and decided to give it a try. Got it last week, left it in a sunlit room for a few days in case the luminescence needed to 'charge', and nothing. It doesn't glow in the dark, not even a little. I assume it's just defective, and I plan on calling the Mint tomorrow to try to get a replacement, but I thought I'd mention it here first. Anyone else have the same problem?

And if it is defective you should consider keeping it
I don't think there's been another coin in the series like it...

That's the issue. There is no fascination over this series. The first coin got some notice because it was unique and it made the news - Colbert included.

The second coin and the third coin are noise. Any 8 year old looked at the first coin and said 'cool' and moved on. True coin collectors see it at a novelty. So where does that leave the series?

Thanks for all your input. I tried putting it up to a lightbulb for 30 seconds and it does in fact glow, but not nearly as much as I expected based on pictures I've seen online, and it doesn't last long. I'm a bit disappointed it doesn't glow just from being in a bright room all day.

Oh well. I assume they're all like that, so I guess I'll hold on to it. It's inexpensive, at least.
