I'll take a wild guess: Back row, second from the left? It's amazing what can be charged for a round metallic disk once it becomes a "coin" issued by an national mint!

Yup. The allegory is nice but some of those coppers are just as nice and cost between $1.50 and $2.75 compared to $39 bucks. I guess a capsule, a clamshell and limited mintages makes a big difference. Sure it's like comparing silver bullion to proof silver coins but generally the Ag premium multiplier is 3 or 4 times. Not 15-25 times like these coppers. Crazy. Edit to add. I have others, just picked an assortment. I bought the stands on ebay. They cost around 50 or 70 cents each (depending on how many you buy) shipped from the US.

I was gonna buy the Allegory, but w/ S/H and tax, couldn't validate it. Guess I didn't want it that bad

I THINK (AIR-TITES.COM) IS CHEAPER.

I paid $32.50 shipped for 50 on ebay. The same 50 via Air-Tites.com is actually a couple of dollars more at $34.80. However, there is considerably more selection on Air-Tites website.

But if you look at the copper rounds more closely - some of them are a bit "off" (I learned this after buying a real Walking half to compare with a generic round featuring the same motif - the copy was a bit shoddier!). The IHC round is nice, though! I've been meaning to make an American type set entirely out of novelty copper rounds, actually.

I agree with you there you really cant tell which ones are better then the other ones until you get them in hand. There are cheap enough that its not a big deal , the new one that I like is the Canadian maple leaf with Canada on one side and USA shield on the other lol, interesting hehe. I want some of these.
