It's not a coin, but a Nuremberg rechenpfennig, a class of token also known as a "jeton". They were made in the German city of Nuremberg in the 1500s and 1600s, for use as counters. They were exported everywhere and are very commonly dug up in England and in the rest of Europe. The UKDFD reference page shows all the types commonly found in Britain; yours is a "rose and orb" type, but might be too badly corroded to narrow down the ID of the manufacturer.
