I don't collect errors, but I do enjoy finding them. I found this in a 1000 count bag. Full rims, missing the "we trust" in IGWT, and missing much of the detail of the lower wheat on the reverse. I don't own a scale, so I don't know how much it weighs yet. I'll try and get a weight tomorrow. The coin on the right is a 1950P from the same bag. In hand and in the photos, I don't see any striation marks that would come from a "split before strike" error.

It's struck on a tapered planchet. Basically it's normal thickness on one side and thin along the other. Nice find!

It weighs 2.6 grams.

One of these days I might get around to buying my own scale. Until then, coins like this one give me an excuse to make another visit to my local coin shop.
