I was watching TV 2 minutes ago and saw a scam commercial that is as bad as those ads you see in the newspaper every Sunday for gold plated and free Elvis half dollars. "Just say these 5 simple words and get free silver from your bank" You mean like "do you have a box of half dollars?" What do you mean I have to pay $4.50 for a box of coins? You mean I have to sort through all of them? You mean I can't dump them back here? http://pro.stansberryresearch.com/1...PN/6REMP607/

Seems like a scam. What do they think people are? Kids?! We aren't no dumbos to think 5 words can lead to a silver treasure. Man, they make me sick.

It looks like a large scam to me as well. If we could all get silver for free then I am sure we would know how to already.

The only reason people say YOU can get free money is because they want you to buy something.

5 words: "got a half dollar box?"
But if you look at the images of falling coins on that page - I see the arms of Ukraine - do the five magic words also transform your US dollars into hryven?

Google the name of the firm, and search his name, too. He's a confirmed scam artist. Why would the testimonial people repeat his buzzwords if this was a real "loophole"? It's a Ponzi scheme that preys on your greed. I actually sat through the whole thing so I can learn more about warning signs so that I can better detect these scams. There are so many signals it's not even worth noting them all here. Even just trying to close the window to exit the site has some sort of bug that you have to open up Task Manager just to End Task safely.

I also had to go through task manager to close it. Some people are so ridiculous.

Stansberry Associates has been running that crap in their "investment research" newsletter and advertising it all over the place on the internet forever. It's been beaten to death in threads here and probably in every other forum as well. Evidently they finally ramped their advertising up to also include TV and radio.
Many have felt for a long time that they should be prosecuted for being a source of environmentally detrimental noise pollution.
They do however share one thing with all the other self-styled "observers" and "analysts" of market conditions and all the other purveyors of financial and market insight and guidance -- they're ALL full of gas which they never, EVER stop leaking out. Google up "investment advisor" and be ready to really wish you hadn't.

Hahaha, that got me thinking what those 5 words might be, so I started a post on my blog asking people to make up their 5 words.... in honor of them! If you want to read the whole thing, you can check it out here. Some ideas.... 1. "Can I have a box?" 2. "Do you have half dollars?" 3. "How many rolls is that?" I like the free advertising that their little scam provides. ;-) The more people looking the better!

The testimonials sound like they were done in Microsoft Sam or another computer program.

Quote: The testimonials sound like they were done in Microsoft Sam or another computer program. Hmmm. I think it would have been funnier if they had used this S.A.M.
