I would go with AU 53/55.due to the distracting Ding on the reverse and the wear on the cheek/bbeard and hairlines. Still a really nice coin!

Raymo! I've been lurking around. Since my new job in October, I've been traveling rediculous amounts--so I havent done much collecting :-/ hopefully things slow down a bit! Looking around for some upgrades this morning!

AU-55, wear on cheeks and beard. Rim ding on Reverse. Great looking coin!

Too bad about the rim ding. I'd have to go with MS64RB.

looks like some light circulation. AU58. nice luster remaining. the rim ding will knock down the value but its pretty to look at.

Thanks all! I really like the obverse lots of luster remaining. Agreed the reverse leaves something to be desired with the ding.

I am thinking MS 63 because of the ding and hit on the beard. Nice fields and nice strike, great beard for an old coin.
