Hi All

I don't know too much about coins in general but I was sorting through an accumulation I have and some time ago noticed this 1968 Canadian dime that appears to have been mis-struck. The border appears to be 'squatted' at the left. I have scanned both sides for all to see.

Can anyone tell me if this is a rarity or not. Most likely not though?

Thanks a lot

Yes, looks like an off-centre strike (also called mis-aligned die). http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins...ed-die&id=25 May add a few bucks to the value if you find the right buyer.

I agree. Slightly off-center.

I recently posted one in much the same condition, but everyone agreed it's not that sought after as a collection item. $5 at most sort of thing.

Thanks all for the postings. I didn't think I could buy a yacht from the possible sale of this :)
