Thanks I think it might be PMD too but I just had to post it because I never seen anything similar to it.

Looks like damage to the design rather than design stamped on top of damage. Maybe somebody playing with a drill? Looks like some circular pattern like that on the left edge of the damage.

looks like a corrosive liquid to me.
