Lots of US change - nearly $30. Mostly quarters. Just one silver - the holiday the coins came from was in 1984ish. I dont know if its coincidence or not that this was in there - Lustrous if a little toned, but basically untouched.

Value? Grade? Where should I sell this thing?

Nice. You're going to need MS66 to make it worth slabbing (I think it has a good shot at the grade), and frankly the appearance will very much get in the way of sellability. I do not know if appropriate....conservation....would work to regain the blast-white appearance; some of that toning is too dark, too far advanced, for the process to remove it.

If I were going to flip it, I'd probably offer it raw, with the best pics possible to illustrate the technical grade, and let the buyer decide if it's worth the effort to make it "slabbable." Don't take the risk yourself. It'll cost you potential profit, but I suspect you're not into it for very much.

Ill offer it up for sale on CCF for a while and ill have time to list this stuff on ebay next week. Thanks for the advice.

I get half the profits for agreeing to sell them (my uncle just sees shiny metal discs). With any luck, ill be able to get an even 400 for the lot by august and walk away with a smooth 200.

FYI- 1982 and 1983 have a premium if they are in UNC/bu condition

its worth the effort..more than the silver quarter
