Hi guys

New to the whole world of coins and at the moment I can't find anything out about this EW marking on this coin. Google turned out to be unfriendly when you actually need something from it.

Any help would be grateful.

Looks to be a counter stamped coin, google that and you should find some general info. it could be politico, advertizing, religious or just somebody with a stamp and hammer messing with peoples heads at the time

Such markings or "counterstamps" are almost always applied unofficially. These are unofficial ones. Whoever or whatever "EW" was, the meaning is now probably lost to us.
