I've got a couple of coins I'm wanting to have graded by PCGS. I've checked with Gatewest in Winnipeg, but they said it could be a year before they would send it in.

Does anyone have a painless process that they use to get a coin graded from PCGS?

Other than joining PCGS and paying their annual dues, having a friend who has done so, the only other method is through an Authorized dealer.

Thanks oih82w8. I've found their membership page and it looks like I can sign up for the Platinum plan and get 8 coins graded for $30 each. As long as there's no hidden costs, it looks like an OK deal.

In case anyone cares...I bought a subscription for $250 Canadian and sent in 4 canadian coins and 4 US coins. The final cost to get them to PCGS insured, and get them shipped back, will be $500 Canadian. That's $63 per coin. I sure hope it's worth it.

If you know of a less expensive way of doing this, please let me know. thanks
