Nice coin! The 1935 dollar is my favorite of all Canadian coins.A very popular coin with collectors. If the 1948 dollar is the "money coin" then surely the '35 dollar is the "mini money coin".They were issued primarily as commemorative coins and received special care and handling at the mint, thus there is disproportionate number of high grade coins relative to the number produced. There are about 600 1935dollars in PCGS MS65 holders, that's about as many as all GeoVI MS65 dollars combined, and far more than all Elizabeth PCGS MS65 dollars in both silver and nickel. There are far more PCGS MS65 '35 dollars than the total of all PCGS MS65 50cents from 1870-2002.Despite the tremendous supply of these coins they continue to sell readily at about the $200 mark. Good to see you didn't overpay.Trends is very optimistic at $350.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning... -from PCGS website

As with most coins that are slabbed or in capsules, I am NEVER sure that any dust particles that are electrostatically attached to the slab, are masquerading as marks on the coin.
If the slab has been perfectly cleaned before being photographed, then all of those marks are on the coin.
IF that is the case, MS62 or 3.

DBM: Thank you so much for sharing that info! This is my favorite silver coin as well! the Kings bust is really beautiful. Speaking of which doesn't the king look like Sultan Qaboos of Oman in this bust? here's a link to what the sultan looks like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qaboos...Said_al_Said

To me it's just uncirculated as a grade - but it has fantastic eye appeal. What a great coin.

Now the real trick would be to find a bunch of 38's frosty and near perfect like this one. ..So easy to look at over and over again...
