- I have a coin from my collection that you will try to guess (eventually). - Three hints are posted below. One hint that can lead to each of the following if deciphered correctly: Date, Composition, and the Design/Country/Denomination of the coin. -Questions must be such that they are able to be answered by a Yes or No. Questions may not be directly related to the coin or the clues. For example: "Is the coin a 1926 Antarctica 20 Centavo?" (teeheehee) would not be accepted. -The coin in question (literally) may be from ANYWHERE!-Each CCF member will be permitted ONE guess at the coin. -Your guess may be given at anytime from the beginning of the game to the end. No indication will be given to the fact of whether or not your guess is correct until 24 hours after the last question has been answered. At the end the winner - the first person to guess correctly - will be declared the winner! -In order to be correct, you must give the date, denomination, and country of origin. -If you have any suggestions or questions, please let me know! Quote: 1973 25 Cents from Barbados in Copper Nickel (cupro-nickel) That is what I said. Copper nickel was the only composition for 1973 25 cents. They changed to nickel plated steel in 2007.

Sorry, jay. But I did not cheat. This was the logic that I used. Explanation of my answer: "Dorough was approached in the early 1970s by advertiser David McCall and asked to put multiplication tables to music. The result was "Three Is a Magic Number", the first song for what would become Schoolhouse Rock!. Dorough remained with the show from 1973 to 1985." This and the fact that the mintage was 6,000,000 makes the coin most likely to have been found. Barbados Bearded Fig Tree Bearded Fig Tree, BarbadosThe name "Barbados" is believed to have its origins with the Bearded Fig Tree. The Portuguese sighted Barbados in 1536 en route to Brazil and referred to the island as Los Barbados or the Bearded Ones presumably after the fig trees found on the island which, as you can see in the photo, have a beard like appearance. These trees can become incredibly large and are a natural habitat for birds, bats and monkeys. "The Bearded Fig Tree can be found across Barbados especially in the natural gullies that run across the island, however they are nowhere near as plentiful as when the Portuguese visited our shores centuries ago. The specimen captured in this photo can be seen at the Andromeda Botanical Gardens." Morgan Lewis Windmill The coin:
