I pre-ordered the 2013 P & D Kennedy half dollars from a newer ebay seller cantoncoin2 a few weeks ago and paid $3. ebay removed the listing ( 140984994464). The ad said he would start shipping as soon as he received the coins which were released June 20th. It's still a little on the early side to be concerned if they will arrive or not, but I've never seen ebay remove a listing, then tell me if I have a problem with the purchase, to resolve the problem by filing a claim through their resolution center. So did anyone else order coins from this Canton, Ohio seller? It was only $3 so I'm not out much if he was really just taking people's money. I'll wait until after the first week in July to file a claim if the seller wasn't legit. |

He has 5 Feedbacks from sales of 2013 Kennedys. 4 of them didn't get their coins.

I just received my rolls a couple days ago, so it is possible he has not yet received them or just has and has not processed orders yet. I have not got mine up on my store yet, so who knows. Having said that, if you got that notice from ebay, I am thinking you wont be getting them from him. |

You have 45 days from the day you paid to file a claim. I would file on about day 42 or 43.

I've had ebay remove a listing after the sell before. I got what I bought just fine - and contacted the seller to thank him - even though I couldn't leave feedback. I am inclined to think the seller just got the coins, and expecting to receive them from him already is kind of much. ebay suggests waiting 14 days before getting excited... |

I have had ebay pull an auction of mine for using the term "pre-order". Maybe that's all it is/was? |

Is there a rule against pre-orders? I thought that was allowed as long as you stated how long it would take for your to ship the item?

I dont understand why they would remove a listing but not cancel the sales from it that havent been shipped. If its bad enough to remove they should just cancel the sales or leave the ad alone

Thanks for your replies. I feel better now about the transaction as I wasn't aware ebay pulled pre-orders so maybe that's what happened. The ones who left him a negative feedback didn't wait long enough to see if they would actually arrive. But if mine don't arrive by the 7th of July I'll file a claim. As I said, it was only $3 including shipping so I'm not out too much if nothing comes out of it. |

I bought 2 bags and 5 boxes. The bags came in a few days ago and the boxes came in yesterday. I usually don't open them though.

still lookin- how many come in a box? I thought the mint only sold bags and roll sets. How long have you been buying Kennedy bags?

Well, no Kennedys from the seller and no response from him either after a couple e-mails. Heading to ebay now to file a claim. Rats..... why can't people be honest? |

Darth, the box he speaks of is the box they ship rolls in. They ship all rolls, quarters, halves, dollars etc in boxes. Typically each box will have a roll of P and a roll of D mint coins. So if you have 5 boxes of halves, you have ten total rolls.
Matchbox, if you still want them, let me know. I have mine ready to go.
