You guys dont seem bothered by Conders, but ill keep buying and posting them as long as they stay this cheap. First is a Queen Elizabeth - a nice type, someones defaced poor Old-Liz, but the obverse is a type I wanted. Second is an Edinburgh one with the fella with the cross (upon which he was apparently executed). Both lowballs, one holed (I might start a holy collection), but meh, 18th Century copper doesn't come much cheaper. I'm hoping the edge inscriptions are alright though - thats my main reason for the edinburgh one. Report this Post to the Staff

I do the same thing with very low grade ancient coins, then fully attribute them, if I can. A fully identified low grade ancient is worth double, if it is fully identified, so fun and profit are the motives. Report this Post to the Staff
