I'm not an experienced coin grader. I'm guessing this one is in the VF-EF range.

There also seems to be a lamination error.

i'd say the region at 7 on the reverse could have been a planchet defect, but it is certainly VF details (corrosion, cleaning).

VF details is right on. The die cracks and planchet error are quite fascinating to me. Not EF due to wear and this you can tell from the diamond shapes on the ribbon (obverse) are not complete.

Thank-you robbudo, jerryc39, and westcoin. Would the errors add to the value?

I can add that there was no damage on the edge that might have been related to the 7 O'Clock "dent" on the reverse.

I'd say on a non detailed specimen a small amount, but the corossion here cancels that out I'm afraid.

minor planchet problems like this one detract from the 'beauty' of the coin and often decrease the interest in the coin. It adds no value to this coin.

I mostly agree, but there is a small market for planchant errors. I sell them all the time and sometimes they do well, very well, in fact; while at others they just don't bring in anything!
