Just curious. I wasn't but noticed a small premium due to the comparatively low mintage numbers, even for circulated.

I started pulling them. They seem to be the ratio you would expect. 4-8 a box for me with an average of 6. Very small sample size though.

I am not a nickel roll searcher but I do keep any nice 09's I find in my change.

Yes, I keep them and those are great fines. I am averaging 0 09p and around .4 09D per box out of 15 boxes. I know compared to some that is not many boxes, but it is what I have been able to do.

I can go 3-5 boxes without one, then hit a box w/20. And yes, I keep them all.

I still keep any 09's I find even though the rough circulated pieces don't really command a whole lot. I remember when rolls were selling for $40-50 each.

The key date for us is 2000P (Not Philadelphia, not 2000 pence, but Plated). Interest and supply is low (it's still feasible to find one), but you can probably sell one for at least $1. Then there's 1999P, which is a $20 coin (but only issued for testing in a few thousands, so chances are very very low)...
