I'm strictly a Wheat penny and silver hunter, so my rankings take no account of varieties.

1---Cents. I always find wheaties, so it's always productive (although with only small-scale "wins").
2---Tied between dimes and nickels. Low productivity, but I find a silver dime or War Nickel 2x out of every 3 or 4 bank boxes.
3---Tied between halves and quarters. Zero productivity.

My ranking at this time. Subject to change at anytime.

1. Nickels (Most variety of interesting coins found per box)
2. Dollars (Ikes)(Because they are Ikes!!)
3. Halves (Mainly for silver now that the Album is complete)
4. Pennies (Still looking for an Indian Head cent)
5. Quarters (Just for the silver)
6. Dimes (Last only because they are small and hard to see)

Great poll. Thanks.

I don't have the patience for searching anything else. With cents I almost always find something, even if its only a little copper!

Dimes used to be at the top of my list, but lately I have been focusing on copper, so...
1. Cents -always find lotsa stuff!
2. Nickels -rarely find silver, but usually get interesting ones
3. Dimes -usually find at least 1 silver
4. Half dollars -Pretty much a waste of time now
5. Quarters -worthless.
