I have a New Zealand 5 cent coin half the normal thickness. On one side it has the Tuatara and the other side is blank. Looks like it was produced from a delaminated sheet of metal. Can anyone tell me its value and a bit about it? Thankyou.

Hello and welcome.

Your coin is either a "split planchet error", or a coin that has had the obverse ground off. It's hard to tell which without seeing a picture, but if the "missing" side is perfectly smooth, then it's a grinder job.
