I'm no expert, but there are way too many diagonal scratches on the reverse to make me believe it's BU. I'd say AU58. But, I've been wrong before.

looks like an original uncirculated coin that went through the mill definately has the original luster besides being beat up and all

with all the obverse field and reverse bell scratches I would say ms62.
