Hello everyone,

I currently own a 1776 coin. Could you tell me how to know if it's real or not from the images, please?

Thanks.

Welcome!
Unfortunately, it does appear quite identical to this known counterfeit:

I am sorry to concur, the coin is a common and well know fake. There are several great threads in the World Coin forum that discuss what to look for in a Spanish Colonial Portrait Dollar to spot a counterfeit.

to CCF!
Unfortunately I do not believe this authentic.
There are some real pros with these in world coins forum that may give you more info. Maybe request the mods to move this post over.
