I was starting to open a roll of cents and I realized the whole role is brand new 2013 cents. Is this worth anything or should I just dump it in with the latest batch of change to be returned to the bank?

It would be worth something if it was a BEP bank roll. (gov't roll) and it would only be a couple of dollars at most. Of course I would just keep it cause it will only go up in a few years but you not going to retire on it...he he

What's BEP? It is a bank roll though as I said I did partially open it (that's how I know it is all brand new coins)

The BEP only issues paper money.

Worth @ 50 cents, go to any bank and you can get a brand new roll for 50 cents. If you put it away and are still alive in 2113, you will have a whole roll of brand new 100 year old pennies

Correct. There are no "BEP rolls" out there.

Not any of the banks around here. I haven't seen a roll of NEW coins around here since the Washington dollars in 2007. the only shipment we got of new State Quarters were a box or two of MA quarters back in 2000.

This is the only time I have ever received a brand new roll; usually they're a complete mix of new and old thrown randomly together.
