Hi guys,

I recently purchased this token online and have yet to find any information about it. If anyone has any sources or information on the item that would be amazing!

its an german silver medal (1750) made by Georg Wilhelm Kittel (lived and worked in Breslau)
Subject is the end of the first half of the 18th century.
obverse: bust with three faces (future, past and presence)
inscr.: "vergangen gegenwaertig zukünftig"- (gone present coming) "schicket euch in die zeit" from the holy book: romans XII.11

reverse: allegory of saintliness at altar
inscr.: from 1 Samuel VII.12 "Thus far the Lord has helped us." "beschlus des halben seculi 1750" (final of the half century 1750)

Thanks for the speedy reply, I've never heard of the maker. I'd be interested to know the sort of price his work commands. I paid a reasonable amount for the medal purely based on aesthetics.

Have you seen any of his work for sale? Or a general ball-park figure?
