Should hold onto them, right?

Normally I only hold onto star notes & low - semilow serial numbers.

These had to of come out of a collection I am thinking because there is no way 2 bills went everywhere together for the last 4 years. They are in nice condition too (folded up but it looks like the first folds, I can probably flatten em)

Pretty cool if you ask me!

I would only keep them if they are "fancy" or "star" notes/numbers.

You could go to the bank and ask for a strap of 100 new bills if you wanted to.

Yeah? Are they all consecutive or are you just assuming in that $100 strap you get a few that are in a row?

I thought you had to buy consecutive bills for a premium from the gov. Hm, you learn something new every day.

You can ask for a new BEP strap at any banking institution, sometimes they have them, sometimes they don't. If it is a new BEP strap it "should" have consecutive serial numbers with an occassional star note embedded in them.

Your notes are most likely not four years old either since 2009 is the newest series for everything except the new $100 notes.

All banks are different....Some you get straps of circulated notes,,,Some will have straps of 2009 notes....Probablly keep a few from each series, but these are common right now....Nice to have a couple pretty ones......................
