Whoa. I'd hardly call it spamming the board. Sounds like he found the coin, didn't have a camera, so posted a pic he found on line. This looks like the real one this time.

They made lots, but is seldom seen anymore in circulation. Unless it's in spectacular condition, not work more than 25 cents. Perhaps in Europe, it has a tiny bit more value as a curiosity.

Rest in Peace

Thanks to BioChemist.
This post Douglas21 posted a picture of his actual coin, I believe.
Sean is correct that this is a common coin.
Douglas21 a rough start but hang in there.

Most likely not. I live close to Philly and have family there. Chicago is too far and I don't like their pizza. Do you ever get to the Baltimore shows?

Go easy on him. It is just his first experience with the forum. Welcome to the forum. We are here from time to time. If you don't get a quick answer, be patient. I see you are out of the country, but that is OK. All will work on helping you. Images are a real plus. Great images even help more. Looks like you ran into some U.S. coins. Welcome again.
Rest in Peace

If the coin pictured belongs to Douglas
then he may be wondering about the slight off center
strike.

In 1975 and 1976 the quarter, half, and dollar reverses were the bicentennial design. They were given the dual date on the obverse. I like the drummer quarter design, and have many PCGS graded drummer quarters. They made so many, they are common. A PCGS PR-69 clad commonly sells for $5 to $10; less than the cost of grading. The clad PR-70 command a premium. The 40% silver BU and proofs can command a premium in higher grades or attractive toned examples. These are a commemorative, not normally error coins. The pictured coin is slightly offset, but not collectable to me as an error.
Have fun and!

One of these is what is getting my interest in coins.
Now I have a lot of them. and am interested in what to look for in them.
Mine are in rolls and given enough time I will go through them.
Plus one proof set.
