Its hard to say for sure but in my opinion the dents wouldnt be enough to give a details grade. I've had coins with similar looking dents (though not as many) come back with a numismatic grade

Tough call - it will be graded but details? I've seen some that are and some that aren't called details with rim bumps, this coin has more than one so that may weigh more to the details grade, still a very rare coin that should probably be in a slab for resale purposes. How did the rim look at the bottom? Near the mintmark? that is where lots of counterfieters would drill into the coin to make an inner impression to force out the CC though this one looks to be okay from first glance.

Send it in. It's got a 50/50 chance of grading problem-free and should be in a slab if you ever plan to sell it. It needs some type of rigid, archival quality holder in any event.

Quote: i would love to see the documentation or a site that could display the impression you are describing westcoin if you have it available For some reason the CCF forum won't allow the link I have. Please message me for a response directly. I'm not sure why the page is on CCF's blacklist but I don't want to try and skirt around the forum rules. I will be glad to send you more info directly. Another way is to sandwich two coin halves together, this usually leaves a seam around the edge that the reeds have to be matched up and recut. Plugging and refilling the area with a plug with added mint mark is another way. Amazing that a tiny hole drilled is large enough to allow for an embossing tool to be inserted and opened up enough to make the embossed mint mark raise up enough, but I've seen quite a few of these cut examples at ANA seminars on Counterfeit Detection. Hope that helps, stay vigilant and question any expensive raw coin purchase before reaching for your wallet - get a written guarantee and if possible multiple dealer opinions. I started dealing in coins well before there were slabs, the ANACS service helped but it was not foolproof back then either.
