Liberty Leaf (silver sativas) are 1 oz. silver for less than the Silver Bullet rounds by about $5
They have 2 designs, both have leaves, one has quote from B. Franklin - other from Lincoln.

I did get one of these...

Has-Silver-Bullet-Silver-Shield-Gone-Off-Of-The-Deep-End?

Benin - World's 1st Cannabis Sativa (Marijuana) Coin - 100 CFA - 2010 - Proof Colored Crown - COA - The coin just issued by authority of the Government of the West African Republic of Benin is bound to create quite a stir among collectors and non-collectors alike. As the first in a series of "Famous Plants of the World", the 100 Central African Franc denominated Legal Tender coin features Cannabis Sativa, colloquially known as Marijuana, Pot, Mary Jane, Weed, Grass, etc. The coin has been struck from a 27 gram copper-nickel planchet, 38.61 millimeters in diameter that is subsequently silver-plated. The reverse features a bright green Cannabis Sativa leaf that when rubbed (HORRORS!!), releases the distinct aroma of Marijuana, although I have been assured that the aroma comes from a synthetic additive and not from the plant itself. This process can be repeated approximately forty times before the smell disappears. Total mintage for this coin is limited to 2,500 pieces and if early indications are correct, this coin is destined to become an instant classic, appealing to both coin collectors as well multitudes of flower children and rock band followers from the sixties and seventies.
Metal: CuNi Silver Plated Country: Benin Year: 2010 Face value: 100 Francs Weight: 27 g Diameter: 38,61 mm Grade: UNC Quality: Proof Mintage: 2.500 pcs in the world Certificate COA: Yes

"Like I said, Joe, that quote is a plank from the libertarian platform."

Do Libertarians really use the marijuana leaf as some symbol of defiance? I would call myself very conservative (don't identify with the GOP anymore, though) and would much rather have a coin with "μολὼν λαβέ", the "Bill of Rights" or something along those lines on it to show my defiance (funny how these days the Bill of Rights would show my defiance).

No I feel ya Jenger I was just razzin the hard core tree huggers out there lol....

I like to think of myself as a fine mix of both a true fence rider lol....

And as far as the hippie way of life I was at Bonaroo in 2003 hence my vast knowledge of their way of life lol and as a bartender for over 20 years I would be lying to say I had never indulged in some weed along the way lol....

To me booze and other harder drugs are the downfall of this country, kids hopped up on opium based pills and other harder drugs heroin cocaine etc., where as pot is equal to drinking coffee or cokes IMO and actually that and cigs will kill you way faster then any weed....

No doubt it has medical properties esp for cancer patient short of appetite and stomach issues.....

I would figure national legalization alone if taxed properly could dig out the entire country of debt within ten years or so a true no brainer lol....

The short answer is no. Theyre fine with it as they believe you should be left alone to do what you want but only the green party campaigns for it. With libertarians it just happens that it falls within their beliefs, but those beliefs are by no means based around it and you dont have to use it to be a libertarian

Never quite understood the whole thing of "Let's put a leaf of marijuana on our planchet, it'll be sooo coool! Hey, pass the bag of Doritos." I don't know. As the old saying goes - beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If it is what you stack, by all means stack on.

Pot users - doctors, lawyers, CEO's, presidents, your next door neighbor.
Personally, my drug of choice is caffeine.
IMO we will never see full legalization of cannabis in the US, it's in the govt's best interest to criminalize all use. $Billions in revenue will keep it that way.
Cool coin BTW!
