The edge also looks 'iffy', despite the fact that this piece has not been pictured edge on. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I certainly don't mind paying a fair price for a high quality fake, PROVIDED it is sold as a fake. Sap Moderator Australia 16868 Posts	Posted 07/03/2013 11:02 pm Yes, it's a mass-produced "replica", although it doesn't actually copy a genuine coin. The two sides are from two different coins issued by two different emperors (Nero and Constantine), issued a couple of centuries apart. And yes, we've seen them several times on the forum before. Here and here are a couple of older threads with them. According to the notes on this example in the FORVM fake database, they may have been given away in boxes of cereal.
