For those of you who are too young to remember The Three Stooges (Moe, Larry and Curly Joe), there's a ton of information about them and plenty of old videos of their crazy shtick if you just Google them.

I don't mean to be critical but I really love the Stooges and if you don't mind I want to expand on them a bit.

Curly-Joe DeRita was actually the last of the Stooges. He passed away in 1993.

The originals were Moe Howard, his brother Shemp Howard and their friend Larry Fine. (Actually their original last names were Horwitz and Fienberg) Shemp left the trio just before they started making shorts (short films)and returned when his other brother Curly Howard had a stroke and had to give up acting. Shemp died a few years later and then there was a series of "third" Stooges ending with Curly-Joe.

The Stooges were, and are, amazingly under rated.

They are tax exempt and $279.95 is actually 30 cent more than issue price.

Ah, you're in a tax province (guessing Saskatchewan). Most of us don't pay tax on these coins.

I happened to be watching the three stooges episode with this in it as I was checking CCF this morning. The title really caught my eye. Weird coincidence.

Received my Niagara Falls coin and box only last Friday - Funny thing, today, Tuesday, I received the Caribou coin - with both invoices dated the same day. Weird shipping from the mint. Happy to finally be caught up.
