Count me in the group that doesn't think the switch will happen. With that said the benefit of redoing notes isn't that they cant be counterfeited, rather it makes their job harder. If you keep it the same they get better and better over time, major changes or changes in general require them to start the learning curve all over again for the new features. Theyll get better over time again, but it would throw them off their game for a bit which would at the very least slow it down.
