So, past the new Redbooks and Grading Standard books, are there any cool books about varieties/more expert topics? I just started the Coin Collectors Survival Manual by Travers. Thanks in advance! Google comes up empty as well so does Amazon. I'd recommend you start with Q. David Bowers book - US coins as illustrated by the Garrett collection, a great all around read, and will give you many ideas of areas in US coins that might pique your interest. Any other areas you would like some in-depth book recommendations in US coinage, I'd be glad to help as my numismatic library is more complete than my coins collections are "Buy the Book Before You Buy the Coin" - Aaron R.
