While I was looking through a box of pennies I decided to keep approx 20 shiny 1964's... I am glad I did. 10 of them were extra spines and 1 looked like an extra bud.. My first finds of extra spines and these all appear to be MS condition.

Thanks. I'm just glad I found them and saved them from the melting pot. I have only been plucking out the good ones. I don't have the time for the lower grades anymore.

Thanks. I was shocked when I saw them.

I'm surprised you haven't found any... You go through so many pennies. Have you found extra spines in other years or none at all?

upon closer inspection they appear to fall into the MS60-63 category.
