Last week I won a couple of books (one was on coins- 2006 Catalog of World Coins) from a dealer in Appleton Wi who is not responding to my emails.

Does anyone know him or can someone give me a telephone number to contact him.

Would appreciate any help I can get, thanks

No info for you, but keep in mind it's a holiday week/weekend. No excuse for a seller if they have active listings, but just a thought...

I wouldn't worry. Chances are he is on the road and will get caught up with his email tomorrow.

I've made purchases where the only contact afterward was when the item arrived in the mail.

Unfortunately there is no policy regarding communication ,, some sellers do not contact the buyers at any point in the transaction ,,

sellers like that seldom get to sell me more than 1 Item !! I like to feel like I'm more important than that when I spend my money !!

I have emailed this guy 3 or 4 times requesting postage costs so that I can pay him.

I am not getting a reply at all. That is why I was hoping someone here knows him or can provide me with a telephone number so that I can contact him.

Thanks to all for your replies.

I had a situation last year when I ordered a couple of books from a seller, paid with Paypal at end of auction, and then waited...

I looked at his feedback and it started going negative with "item not received". After a couple weeks, someone posted in their FB for him that he was in the hospital with a brain aneurysm. Finally after five weeks of absolutely no communication, I received my books. I monitored the seller for a couple more months and he had pos FB again until I noticed a string of 30+ negs for "item not received" and ending with NARU. I can only assume that the guy died...

You haven't even been able to pay him yet? That changes things. As has been mentioned, make allowances for the Holiday weekend; assume he wasn't home. If it were me, I'd give him 5 business days (from the end of the auction, not counting Monday) and then a last email saying if he doesn't contact you in 48 hours you'll walk away from the auction and leave a Neg.

Will give it one more try and see what happens.
