I find this to be a good way to save money. If I have cash that isn't special, I will spend it.. but if I have something I like then I am more likely to hold on to it. I would put it away somewhere and try to forget its there.

I recently placed a few 1934 series $10 and $20 back into circulation. They have very little collector value and the longer you hold them the less purchasing power they have. Spend that puppy.

Another point:
If you just have the single note, with no intention of forming a district or block set, then I would spend it. As a set there might be value.
