Help With Russian Banknotes - Coin Community Forum

bvlro New Member Romania 6 Posts	Posted 07/16/2013 3:00 pm Hello! I have two Russian banknotes (3 rubles 1905 and 5 rubles 1909) but I am having some problems with the signatures on them. I have learned that there are some varieties for these banknotes based on the signatures present. The only ones I could find are the signature of Shipov/Afanasiev; Shipov/Tchihirjin; Konshin/Schmidt; Shipov/Gr. Ivanov and Konshin/Shagin (for 3 rubles 1905) and Konshin/Gavrilov; Shipov/Gr. Ivanov; Shipov/Shagin; Shipov/Schmidt and Konshin/ Rodionov (for 5 rubles 1909). The problem is my banknotes have other signatures than the ones listed above (see attachements). Can anyone help me with that please? I would very much like to precisly identify and characterize these notes because I like them very much. Thank you! Report this Post to the Staff

EGChandler New Member United States 8 Posts	Posted 07/23/2013 07:09 am I bought myself several of these Russian Imperial banknotes in several denominations on ebay because they were in almost uncirculated condition, they are a large bills, they have a beautiful design, and after I have them separated into sets of each denominations and drop them off at the frame shop they will make great Christmas Gifts.
