1965 Nickel Large Beads!! - Coin Community Forum

quimpler Valued Member Canada 64 Posts	Posted 07/21/2013 7:38 pm Hello, I am fairly new to coin collecting, only starting about 6 months ago, and have been learning alot about Canadian coins and their different errors and varieties. Anyway I have a 1965 coin set, still in the cellophane, that I believe has the large beads nickel!! Only thing I find strange is that the large beads variety is supposed to have 138 beads apparently, and I only count 132... still more than the 119 beads on the small bead variety, so I'm confused!! Any opinions on this would be greatly appreciated! Report this Post to the Staff

quimpler Valued Member Canada 64 Posts	Posted 07/21/2013 8:28 pm Oops!! Got the filenames mixed up when I did my scans, you're right it's not the nickel its the quarter!! Well that explains the weird bead count. WELL I feel dumb. :S Report this Post to the Staff
