I was helping a friend count out some Silver Maples the other day, and I noticed some had different reeding on the edge. I hadn't noticed this before. I took some photos. The photos show 2 different 2009 Canadian Silver Maples that have different reeding. Is it often different? Did it change at some point?

I think the time is right for you to contact the RCM, find out how many reeds per inch they put on silver Maples and check out your friend's stash for possible fakes.
Since the CSM design is unchanging, I doubt they changed the number of reeds per inch and that makes me suspect your friend may have fakes in his stash.

i just checked a mixed tube, and all my reeding is the same on the 2011, and 2012 coins, but the 2013 regular and bison, are different, the 2013 has a wider reeding, once I find my digital scale I will check the weight.
