If anyone gets the UK's Coin News publication there will be a series of articles in it over the next three or 4 months based around my "Congress of Princes" collection and the characters involved in that very early photograph of 28 rulers. Fingers crossed I haven't made too many typos - found a minor one already ... doh!

I was unaware there is a Coin News publication in the UK. In early March 2006 I purchased a Bank of England error note from the person that received it from a ATM. After submitting for certification in 2006, I have not been able to locate a second example. In 2009 Coin World published a 1/2 page article asking where the other 39 examples are. Maybe the UK Coin News publication you're referring to may have come across a second example. Below is a CCF link I posted about 2 1/2 years ago for you to view. I also have wrong planchet and multi-struck coins from the UK and curious if the UK Coin publication lists any estimated values. https://goccf.com/t/84778

There is indeed a banknote section in Coin News - and I'm sure they would be interested in your banknote - perhaps you could write an article and submit it? EDIT - you can also send it in as a query to the letters section.
I don't know of any published values of mis-struck UK coins. There is really no interest in them here.

The article is very interesting. I get both copies of the mag, the printed one about 10 days after the digital, but I still read most when the printed one arrives. I am waiting now for the next issue and part two of your article. Geoff

I would be interested in the digital edition of this magazine. Can you pm me the magazine subscription link or post it on this thread. Thanks

It's sold by Token publishing http://www.tokenpublishing.com/coins.aspthe e-version of the Mag is £2 per issue I think - for 12 issues. It's quite UK centric - with A LOT of adverts - but it's the biggest coin publication in the UK by miles. It really carries too much modern stuff in it for my tastes but the ancients section is usually quite good and there is nearly always a medieval piece in it as well. I see they have started doing a " ebay" half page as well as the larger auction house results

Thanks for the info... I'll have to check out my collection/inventory for older UK coins, I know I have a 1743/1 Shilling RPD that was not listed in Krause 18th Century World Coins Catalog.

Does this magazine include a price guide for British coins on it?

Each month it takes a particular coin - say the shilling for example - and does an in depth listing for it.

Finally registered yesterday for the digital editions and for some articles on errors. After seven years of searching for a 2nd example of a triple serial number error note to surface, maybe this was my best option. When signing up, I had a bit of a problem as I'm used to American-English forms, not UK-English forms.

Great - I hope you find what you are looking for.
I have to say again though - there really isn't the same level of interest in the UK for errors that there seems to be in North America - but I'm sure there are some that focus on this area.
There is a letters page where you can write in and if you enclose a picture of your "problem" and I'm sure the knowledgeable guys there will help you out. :)
