I'm guessing all are fake except for maybe the Oregon Trail Half. Maybe the Seated dollars are real too but from the reverse it is quite obvious that the flowing hair dollar is fake. What did you pay for them?

do they stick to a magnet? If yes, they are certain fakes. I would be really surprised if any were real if you got them cheap.

Suffice to say I did not buy them in the USA. Here in Mexico most people are accustomed to ignoring old coins because most have no value unless they are something they recognize as silver or otherwise. I agree about the flowing hair dollar , but not for the same reasons you say, I am thinking because the bust appears off center. I also fouund this which seems similar to what I have http://www.tradekey.com/product-fre...-213526.htmlDId the Magnet test on all three except the flowing hair dollar, will test that one later as it is separate from the others.

It's a Draped Bust dollar, by the way, or at least pretending to be one. The Chinese fake in the link you provided is one commonly seen, with a variety of different dates added to it. There are some flaws that stand out like a signature identifying that particular fake, but would need a better picture of yours to see if they are present. https://goccf.com/t/147653

@zxcccxz Can you please describe the details of the reverse side that you refer to ? I began to see that this was different from an authentic 1795 Posted here , then I found this on ebay with what appears to be the same reverse design http://www.ebay.com/itm/1796-Draped...em3f23c8c92c

Well, even without better pics, we can see the Draped Bust dollar matches the characteristics of the variety B-14 BB-51, which is why the bust looked off-center to you. That's a 1795 variety, though, so the date has been changed. The B-14 BB-51 variety was the template copied by the Chinese fakers to make the particular fake we've been talking about.

I love that fake 1856 dollar! Please post the gram weights if you can get a scale. You're not hurting anything by breaking them out of the paper holders, which might be worth more than the coins themselves. http://www.coinfacts.com/silver_dol...r_dollar.htmThe date is not even a reasonable facsimile.

As already mentioned, 1796 dollar is fake. The off center bust was only used in 1795. The two Seated dollars also look suspicious. The date on the 1856 looks malformed and parts of the rim and denticles on the reverse are weak. The 1872 has an weird groove on the rim by United on the reverse and some of the reverse denticles are weak while in other areas it is much stronger. That leaves the oregon trail half dollar which may or may not be genuine. The pictures are not clear enough to tell. I am not seeing any obvious signs like the others but I am not as familiar with commemoratives.

The date on the 1856 is a dead giveaway it's fake. I suspect the other half dollar as well. As mentioned, the 1796 DBD is a fake. The commem might be real. I would suspect all to be underweight.
