Hint of the date barely visible in hand ... primary diagnostic for this one year type in well circulated state is the thickness of the tiara where it joins the obverse portrait of Ms. Liberty.

I'm thinking this example should be a slam dunk for PO01. Opinions?

I'm with you on the P01 David. Much "nicer" than the AG3 26D you bought from me.

Indeed PG ... your low-ball Peace will soon be on it's way to the PCGS Wizards for their humble opinion.

BTW ... it was an AG03 1935-S. I concur with your grading opinion.

I find myself at coin shows trying to explain to dealers why I am interested in their 'worst' coins ... the pursuit of honestly circulated coins is not for everyone ... but it appeals to me.

My low-ball circulated Peace dollar set is coming along ... will update whenever this hopeful PO01 comes back from PCGS.

I think it grades PO-1.

I think you get your P01 out of this one.

The bar is set pretty "low" for Peace dollars, though - there exists a complete Lowball set of the lowest-known graded example for every single coin. Here's the ones you want to concentrate on "making" a P01 from, in order to command the market:

1922-D
1923-D
1924-S
1925-S
1926-D
1926-S
1927-D
1927-S
1928-S
1934-D
1935-S

No P01's are extant for any of them; FR2 is the "best."
