Fellow CCFers (especially the barber experts).

I see that the 1901-s Quarter plummeted in value in the last 2-3 years, rendering the HA auction prices irrelevant.

Was this due to a bubble in 09, or was there a hoard of 20 or so set free, as in the case of the 1844 dime recently discussed in the forum?

I am really curious.

Thanks for any insight.

I'm left with the question, "Where have prices plummeted such that the place where the experts buy is irrelevant?" Heritage has offered 18 examples in 2013 alone, and prices remain strong. I'm curious, so I can raid that place and make megabucks flipping them since Heritage hasn't heard of it.
