TPG, that is an excellent point and I am glad you bring it up, I agree 100% with you, if you bought a RP and the P Buff that is also going to be a home run due to low mintage numbers.
Thank you for reminding me about that and bringing it up,, I had thought of that but you get busy and forget things.
I tend to think that so long as gold and silver prices tank or chop around and do nothing, the vast majority of people are going to shy away and drop off from buying these high end coins from government mints. That in turn means low production numbers and over time that's going to be good for the value of those high end proof coins.

It will indeed Yup and 25k is low in coins, where in other genres like 1:24 diecast that would be consdiered watered down..... I have a most rare 1997 Raven bringer of light to the world half oz. gold 200 dollar Canada proof coin, 1 of 25k and its real hard to find less then 1k and most often lists at 1250 to 1450.... I would not want to even sell it at 1400 as its just to hard ot replace as I hunted one for years and finally got one at 935 total after ebay bucks....

21000 units ordered so far. Gold sitting at $1327 today. They mention this coin will be repriced weekly. At current spot the price will go to $1690. If spot gold moves above $1350 it will be $1740. Should be fun watching how much the price moves.

The Buffalo Gold Coin is my personal #1 favorite bullion coin as it's .9999 24k Pure Gold. I LOVE stacking these and I think the design is gorgeous. I think it's because when I was a kid, I would collect a lot of Buffalo nickles and always looked out for the rare 3-legged buffalo. I really am debating if I should get 6 of these for pure enjoyment / investment purposes, stay under $10k and keep on stacking. If anything, I will have until 9/5 to make a move. The fact these are the the first reverse proof, limited time 9/5 run, pure 24k gold makes it a very intriguing investment. Decisions!

right now, everyone should be staying way from bullion until theres more clarity in regards to where we are going price wise.
Rather, money should be allocated towards coins such as this RP.

Everything minus silver which is still a bargain IMO at 21 and some small change via spot anyhow which means 28 dollar rounds on ebay of the Britannia quality, still take that all day....

Yes good idea.
You have a few days left. If you are reading this, and sittnig on the sidelines, please dont forget about getting this coin.
I really wanted the UHR coin that came out in 09. I knew about it. But I sat on the sidelines, couldnt make my mind up, I got busy and forgot.
Please, if you can, do yourself a favor and buy this coin!!

Yeah, once when received I will ship it off to PCGS. I will keep mine unboxed in its original mailed format to ensure the highest grade possible. I'll let PCGS do the unboxing.....*sigh*. Either way I'll enjoy my purchase, I look forward to it.
Good luck to the rest.

It's now over a year later. Not sure what the resale is on this coin, but I suspect it's close to issue price, but that's not what I'm posting about..... I misplaced my reverse proof buffalo coin, but found it again yesterday (in my safe). I re-examined it, and in my opinion (and I might be alone) this coin is ....ugh-lee. I don't think the reverse proof treatment on this coin does it any favors. I haven't seen a regular proof or bullion version of this coin but I suspect they look better. I have some reverse proof silver eagles and I think they look nice. Just my opinion. Everyone's got one.
