This one looks a little too dark. Maybe it's been artificially darkened. As far as desirability is concerned, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If I believed it was original and damage free, I'll buy large cents all day long at $15-20 in VG-F.
Obverse looks F15, reverse maybe VF20...however, the rim dings and the fact that it appears to have been dug, I think will warrant a details grade. hey for $15 maybe it can be cleaned up a little. you cant affect the value that much at that price
Certainly VG at best due to discolorization and nicks. Affordable ones like this are just fine to collect because well, they are so affordable! Not really damaged like cuts or holes. Gee whiz, it's 1835 so long ago and still around!
