...almost mirror like surface. I was going through a lot of 1995's and this one stuck out from the rest.
Not sure if the pics do it justice as to the colour and texture.
Wondering what you take on this is...appreciate the input.

I could be wrong but I believe this is out of a mint set. I have found a loonie and toonie from a set and they scratch quickly in circulation.

Impaired proof-like (PL) strike. Specimen coins back in 1995 were also mirror finishes, but the rim suggests to me that this was a PL strike. Your photos are fantastic, and a coin like this is a perfect reference to highlight the points of wear on the diademed portrait of the Canadian 1-cent series. EF-45 grade in my opinion.

I found a 1992 caribou quarter in an arcade all scratched up similar to the penny above. It was obvious PL in the fields protected by the height of the legend etc. I kept it anyways.
