There has been talk on other forums about which is bringing more of a premium on ebay. In most coins, it looked like NGC and PCGS were pretty comparable.

I discovered today that this is not the case with all coins. For Franklin Halves, PCGS is still the leader in the market - bringing a significant premium over NGC.

I found this very surprising since this difference does not seem to apply for the other coins that I've looked at.

I believe that overall PCGS has the advantage in most series. NGC since buying the endorsements of the ANA and PNG are making up ground. For the ultra rare, the slab makes little difference. PCGS has done better marketing, but really missed the boat on the ANA and PNG endorsements.
