Hello all,

I did look at that one and I am still not able to say if it is fake or real.
What does the experts think (sorry for the bad quality)?
Thanks in advance

Difficult to say from the pictures, I don't like the green spots on the obverse. If you have some doubts don't buy the coin.

That green spot is a piece of something stuck on the coin, I removed a portion of it rather easily
I could not find that same one in genuine of fake databases that's why I am asking
But it's true tat it does not look so ancient

I don't recognise the exact style, but a lot cuold be learnt from an attempted match up of genuine coins, as well as fakes.
The nearest I could find was for tetradrachms of Philip 11 of Macedon, both of his reign and posthumous.

Standard question for this sort of investigation:
What is the weight?

Looks like a dud to me. too sharp and even for an ancient coin, I fear. Has the fuzzy look and a tone I see a lot on debased coinage (and faked coins which use 'aged' aluminium).

Should be 17g. Your coin is a straight modern fake. 11g is too light.
