Maybe it's the year the mint thinks will be the zombie apocalypse.... Quote: First person to kill a zombie with a zombie silver (or copper) round wins... Ha! So you think we should pack them in our Bug Out Bags, packed with our zombie arsenal? I was wondering how these coins would prepare us for a zombie apocalypse, as I couldn't imagine a zombie stopping "dead in his tracks" to inspect the coin with interest (thus "buying us time" to get away).

I like this better than SBSS's Keep Calm & Slave On coin.
I'm going to have to pick up a few.

Silverhawk,
You are lucky I got an extra tube for you. I always get at least a tube extra for all my homies that have ants in their pants.

trying to decide if this goes with my set of 2013 ASE coins.. from bullion through the enhanced - or if I am supposed to hold on to it for the 2017 set... either way I picked up a few for the price.

So, I told my hubby that I thought I had most of our Christmas shopping in the bag already, and showed him a pic of the coin, and he looked at me like I had just licked the fly swatter. "Really? Zombies for Christmas?" (Now, it will help you to know he is a pastor, and I am not your typical pastor's wife...) "Well, at least it's silver, so it's valuable..." my voice trailed off..... "Fine, I'll get something nice for the boys," he said. "But why do you have to buy those right now and not closer to Christmas?" Clueless, just clueless.....

How much does Provident charge for S&H? I'm somewhat tempted to buy a roll. Should have seen this coming, actually. Do you realize The Walking Dead was the most popular show on TV last season in the most sought after demo. A cable TV show beating out the networks? It's unprecedented. I do agree with Nab that we're at "Peak Zombie" right now but these are close enough to spot that they're never going to lose much value in the generic silver class. It really depends on mintage whether or not they'll carry much of a premium long term. I'm personally tempted to buy the first in the series, regardless. I bet they sell for at least $10 above spot on ebay.

I just bought another roll for a buddy and it was $447 shipped. I wanted to get in on another roll before the markets open in Asia. I am very excited about these rounds with their current price.

I'm getting dizzy with all the possibilities here...
Edit: Best of all would probably be the GreenWithEnvyChrisDuaneZombie... That would be great is they just went right at it lol. The indians on IHC and the Buffs could make for some fantastic skeleton designs. Or a skeleton zombie bird on the mood from the Ike reverse.

The ASE is more designed for the more traditional/reserved collector, for lack of a better term. The way it was old style designs turn of the century and don't get me wrong I like that all to well as most..... But these guys I like at Silver Bullet cause they shake things up and try to appeal to more the younger new generation, via pot leaf coins, zombie and skeletons and silver bullets which really fire for the upcoming zombie Apocalypse lol.... Which is kind of ridiculous in itself as we all know silver is used to kill werewolf's, NOT Vampires or Zombies.... Amazes me how misconceptions get tied in with fact creating such a grey area lol.... But, back to my point they are kind of cutting edge and all and they are doing things nobody else in industry are doing seems like anyhow.... Now then I am getting a roll of 20 of the above thread topic hopefully we all will still be around by the time they arrive.....

Hey Silverhawk, just so you know, these aren't made by Silver Bullet Silver Shield. These new rounds are made by 'Provident Mint.' New competition for SBSS. I think this is their way of giving them the one finger salute.

Very interesting. The Mint-to-demand concept, started by USMint, is getting popular/mainstream now?
I need to get these before the end of October then!

Id say the private mints actually started the mint to demand since they dont have any official limits if people wanted more theyd keep pumping them out or the company would have more made

@ Traevin - Shipping rates are as follows: Order Sub-Total / Shipping Rate $0-$99.99 / $5.95 $100-$499.99 / $8.95 $500-$1,999.99 / $11.95 $2,000-$4,999.99 / $16.95 $5,000 + / $24.95
I have now placed my 3rd order... gotta stop ordering these things... Just when I think I have enough, I think of more uses/places/people they have to go to. Mainly gifts... I seem to have a slew of friends that are zombie/horror fanatics... its alarming the more I think about it
