Good afternoon all,

Been a while since I was around here, good to be back.
I'm trying to get through my backlog of Romans and came across this one today. It's a Crispus, AE 3, Antioch RIC 79 (FL IVL CRISPVS NOB CAES; Camp gate reverse, two turrets, PROVIDENTIAE CAESS, SMAN- in ex.).
That part was easy, but it's been overstruck. Looks like the overtype had smaller dies, too. You can see the legend curving around the top of Crispus' head, looks like Greek. There is traces of the overtype on the reverse, looks like a star (like you would find on Judaean prutot).
Well, if anyone can help on this one I'd be very appreciative.

19 mm, 3.42g

Yeah, I always manage to find the strangest material somehow.
I was actually able to enhance the overtype in the scans. It shows in lighter tones than the undertype which is a very pleasant chocolatey color in real life.

Needs to be re photographed, with less light intensity.
