Not really. It's a 4 digit repeater. Some collectors believe in it, some don't. Personally I'd keep it just for the fun factor but there's no real value premium in it.
The new polymers aren't up yet but for any older than that you can look it up here http://www.coinsandcanada.com/bank-...s-prices.php. They used to put an asterix in front to indicate a replacement but haven't done that the last few releases.
Quote: How do you know if it's a replacement note?
I think this is a 4 digit repeater note. It is not clear if it is a replacement note. I am not sure how it got suggested that this is a replacement note.
In terms of determining if it is replacement best to post it up on CPMS forum. They have the most up to date listing of replacement notes.
If it is replacement and repeater there is definitely likely to be a premium.
It is a polymer bill in uncirculated condition. Don't know how to tell if it is a replacement or not. I will check up on that forum you mentioned though. Once again I appreciate any and all input. Don't know much about this area of numismatics.
