Third Annual NFL Contest

Finally, the NFL season has rolled upon us. Preseason will start with a game tomorrow night so I will officially open the CCF NFL One-and-Done Contest for the year. Everything will be very similar to last year (along with a playoff round...that may or may not have some more twists and turns in the rules).

Brief rule summary:
- pick 1 team every week
- pick must be in every THURSDAY by NOON forum time
- once you pick a team you cannot pick that team again
- if your team wins, you continue in the contest
- if your team loses or ties you are OUT
- if you fail to make a pick or you pick a team you have already used, you are OUT
- once you pick there will be no editing; editing = OUT
- last person standing gets a coin/currency related gift from all of the players (losers choice)

PLAYOFF ROUND: This year we will once again have a playoff bonus, just like each conference in the NFL sends 6 teams to the playoffs, this contest will have 6 people advance to the NFL playoff contest. Basically the last 6 people standing will advance. A winner will still be crowned as usual but the last 6 people left in the game will play a shorter (and tougher) playoff round. If people get knocked out in the same week when we are down to the last few to determine the final 6 players, all ties will be broken by who picked earliest in the week. I will go over all the rules for the playoff rounf when it comes time and I will be providing the prize for that round, so suffice it to say that there will be an extended season to the 6 top pickers!

I will post updates every week as to who is in and who is out along with who each person has picked throughout the game.

This contest is open to the first 30 people (plus me, so 31 total players) who are up to the challenge (must have 50 posts to play).
